President Biden may think the state of our union is strong, but under the Biden administration, our nation is broke, woke, and an international joke. As his State of the Union address to Congress made clear, he is more focused on increasing the power of Big Government than addressing the concerns of working Americans and families.

Congress ended the year by stuffing the American people’s stocking with a huge lump of coal in the form of an almost $2 trillion omnibus spending bill. It is disappointing so many Senate Republicans voted in favor of this bill and surrendered our leverage to use the power of the purse to fight the Biden adm

It is my honor to earn another two years representing Alabama’s Second Congressional District. Thank you! I’d also like to congratulate my new colleagues Dale Strong, who will represent Alabama’s 5th Congressional District, and Katie Britt, who will represent our state in the Senate. The Wiregrass should be proud to have one of our own in the Senate.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the wonderful veterans, caretakers, and vendors who participated in my Veterans Healthcare Fair at my Wetumpka office. The turnout for this helpful and informative event was fantastic, and I was glad to be able to facilitate getting our veterans and families the information they need to ensure they get the best healthcare available.

Consumer Price Index numbers released hours after Biden’s comments rose yet again from the previous month and show Americans are now paying 8.2% more for consumer goods and services than this time last year.

It was recently brought to my attention that due to ongoing negotiations between Express Scripts (on behalf of the Department of Defense) and independently owned pharmacies, these pharmacies may be unable to provide prescriptions for TRICARE patients.

President Biden and Democrats seem utterly unaware of the pain most Americans are feeling from inflation and the economic turmoil caused by their disastrous policies from Washington. Days ago, they threw a lavish White House party to celebrate their falsely named “Inflation Reduction Act,” complete with a performance of “Fire and Rain” from James Taylor.
