Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore released a statement in opposition to a so-called "border security bill" negotiated in the Senate. This legislation only shuts down the border after 5,000 people per day enter, provides $2.3 billion in taxpayer funds for refugees, increases green cards by 50,000 per year, and provides $60 billion to Ukraine while only providing $20 billion to secure our own border.

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02)'s bill, H.R. 6976, The Protect Communities from DUIs Act, passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 274-150. This legislation forces President Biden to deport illegal immigrants who have been convicted or committed the offense of driving while drunk or impaired.

Barry Moore introduced the Public Health Emergency Accountability Act. This legislation would allow public health emergencies, which are declared by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, to automatically terminate every 90 days. These emergency declarations would need to approval of Congress to extend beyond 90 days.
