Rep. Barry Moore slams DOJ double standard in Biden documents case

February 8, 2024

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore released a statement after special counsel Robert Hur released his report exonerating President Biden in the Department of Justice (DOJ) classified documents case. President Trump was indicted on similar charges, but Biden has been given a pass by the DOJ due to his "poor memory."

"Special counsel Hur acknowledges in his report that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency yet recommends no charges," said Moore. "The American people know another sweetheart deal when they see it. In the same situation, you get indicted if your name is Trump and you get off scot-free if your name is Biden. No one can deny we have a two-tiered justice system."
