Rep. Barry Moore co-sponsors bill to send illegal immigrants back to their home countries

February 8, 2024

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) co-sponsored the Send Them Back Act, led by Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) and Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA). This legislation would make all illegal aliens who have entered the United States since January 20, 2021, eligible for expedited removal from the country.

"President Biden has the power to close the border whenever he wants, but he refuses to use it," said Moore. "Due to his willful negligence, our country has been invaded, and American taxpayers are being forced to foot the bill for over eight million illegal immigrants. I thank Rep. Ogles and Rep. Clyde for introducing this important legislation that would send every illegal Biden has allowed through our wide-open border back to their home country."
