Rep. Barry Moore: "Biden's open border policies welcome Hamas terrorists"

January 31, 2024

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore released a statement after voting in support of H.R. 6679, sponsored by Rep. McClintock (R-CA), which makes any non-U.S. national inadmissible to or deportable from the United States if that person is a member of Hamas or participated in the October 7th, 2023, attacks against Israel. Participants in the October 7th attacks would also be ineligible for any form of relief from deportation under U.S. immigration law, including asylum or withholding of removal.

"In 2023 alone, nearly 200 people on the terrorist watchlist entered our country -- and those are just the ones we caught," said Moore. "Biden's open border policies welcome Hamas terrorists and put American families in danger, but my colleague Rep. McClintock's legislation ensures these terrorists are inadmissible to and immediately removable from the United States."
