Washington D.C. - Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-01) and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) sent a letter to the Department of Justice (DOJ) expressing concern over the operations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the Firearms and Explosives Imports Branch (FEIB).

ATF's import policies, full of guidelines that lack clarity and oversight, give FEIB the ability to hide past rulings that lead to misuses of power. These regulations are often applied inconsistently leading to a diminishing ability to import firearms each year.
