Commitment to make America safe again

I re-introduced the Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act that will deport any illegal immigrant who drives impaired. We lost two of my young newlywed constituents to an illegal immigrant driving under the influence of alcohol, and thanks to Biden's policies that led to an open border, these tragedies are still occurring. I look forward to working with President Trump to protect American families from these tragedies.

Ready to stand with President Trump

This month, we took firm steps toward our mission to make America healthy, wealthy, and safe again. I proudly joined Congress in certifying the election of President Trump and VP Vance. I re-introduced legislationto enhance SNAP fraud detection. I co-sponsored the Panama Canal Repurchase Act and the Gulf of America Act to ensure that America remains strong and secure. I'm looking forward to continuing to work on advancing President Trump's America First policies and restore our nation's foundational values.

Laken Riley act signed into law

The Laken Riley Act was signed into law this month. In honor of her life, this legislation requires Immigration and Customs Enforcement to detain illegal immigrants who are charged with local theft or burglary. This law aids in the protection of families across America, no more heart-wrenching empty seats at their kitchen tables.

Ensuring a seat at the table in the new Farm Bill

This month, Rep. Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) and I re-registered the Congressional Peanut Caucus and will serve as the caucus’ bipartisan Republican and Democrat co-chairs. This will aid in making sure policy issues related to peanut production, management, and marketing are considered in agricultural legislation. I'm looking forward to serving Alabama and our country's over 4,900 peanut farms.

Honoring Alabama Veterans

My team attended the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the USS Alabama Battleship Park in Mobile. We were proud to honor Major General Janet Cobb's retirement and we are thankful his service. We look forward to working with the new ED Commander, Mike Fields.

Breaking ground in Fairhope

Members of my team attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Patient Care Tower at Thomas Hospital. We are excited about the impact this facility will have on our growing community.
