Consumer Price Index numbers released hours after Biden’s comments rose yet again from the previous month and show Americans are now paying 8.2% more for consumer goods and services than this time last year.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today Rep. Barry Moore held a Veterans Healthcare Fair at his Wetumpka office. Moore and his staff were on hand to assist veterans with healthcare issues they faced. Over 35 veterans and their family members attended the fair.

It was recently brought to my attention that due to ongoing negotiations between Express Scripts (on behalf of the Department of Defense) and independently owned pharmacies, these pharmacies may be unable to provide prescriptions for TRICARE patients. This could restrict pharmacy access for millions of people all over the country, including many throughout Alabama.

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore released the following statement after the House of Representatives sent a short-term government funding bill to President Biden to be signed into law. Moore wrote an op-ed for The Hill this week attacking the plan for punting a longer-term bill until the lame duck session of Congress after the November elections. The bill extends current spending levels through December 16, 2022.

President Biden and Democrats seem utterly unaware of the pain most Americans are feeling from inflation and the economic turmoil caused by their disastrous policies from Washington. Days ago, they threw a lavish White House party to celebrate their falsely named “Inflation Reduction Act,” complete with a performance of “Fire and Rain” from James Taylor. It was painfully ironic to watch the event on television overlaid with updated economic indicators showing the Consumer Price Index rose 8.3% and the stock market was having its worse day in over two years.

Barry Moore joined a letter led by Andrew Clyde (GA-09) and Michael Cloud (TX-27) to Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough demanding he immediately rescind the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) new rule that provides abortion services through the VA healthcare system. 43 of his Republican colleagues also joined the letter.
