It is my honor to earn another two years representing Alabama’s Second Congressional District. Thank you! I’d also like to congratulate my new colleagues Dale Strong, who will represent Alabama’s 5th Congressional District, and Katie Britt, who will represent our state in the Senate. The Wiregrass should be proud to have one of our own in the Senate. With elections in our state behind us, all eyes must turn toward the Democrat mission to advance a lame-duck spending bill amid rampant inflation.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the wonderful veterans, caretakers, and vendors who participated in my Veterans Healthcare Fair at my Wetumpka office. The turnout for this helpful and informative event was fantastic, and I was glad to be able to facilitate getting our veterans and families the information they need to ensure they get the best healthcare available. My office makes constituent services a priority, and we love being able to help our veterans.

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) spoke yesterday about his decision to sign a resolution led by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14) requesting an audit of all American taxpayer dollars sent to Ukraine. $54 billion has been sent to Ukraine from the United States since the beginning of the conflict despite little accountability measures tied to the funds, and recently President Joe Biden has requested an additional $38 billion from Congress.

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) joined Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21) in a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to demand answers regarding recent Department of Defense (DoD) policy changes that will lead to taxpayer funded abortions. DoD's memorandum entitled “Ensuring Access to Reproductive Health Care” contained several policy changes including a directive to misuse American taxpayer dollars to pay for military service members' travel costs to obtain abortions.
