April’s dismal jobs report proves what we already knew to be true: Bidenomics is failing the American people.
Well folks, we made it through the first 100 days of Biden’s presidency. What has he accomplished for Americans during that time?
Let’s do the math.
On March 24, the Biden administration tapped Vice President Kamala Harris to take charge of the crisis at our southern border. In the weeks following her new role, Harris visited a bakery, yarn shop, water facility, and community center.
Big government is coming for your privacy again. The Biden administration has vocalized support for working with corporations to develop a vaccine passport. This massive overreach comes at a time when governors are successfully working to return their states to normalcy.
Since the start of the 117th Congress, Democrats have shamelessly proven that they’re determined to trample on the values and freedoms we hold dear. First, they came after your religious liberties and fair elections. This time, your Second Amendment rights are on the chopping block.
Over the last two weeks, Democrats continued passing patently partisan bills instead of working across the aisle to find bipartisan solutions. The most glaring example of this was the rushed $1.9 trillion progressive wish-list shamelessly guised as COVID relief.
Instead of assisting millions of Americans during a global pandemic, Democrats wasted valuable time on an unconstitutional impeachment trial. Day after day, we witnessed their partisan spectacle aimed at attacking President Trump — three weeks after he left office.
Since the horrific attack on January 6th, the U.S. Capitol is hardly recognizable. Fencing and barbed wire surround the entire complex, while soldiers from the National Guard patrol every corner. While I’m grateful for the brave men and women protecting our seat of American democracy, I’m deeply concerned by the idea of these barriers becoming permanent.
On January 6th, America witnessed an unprecedented breach of our nation’s historic Capitol. I have always strongly condemned political violence, whether it’s last week’s lawlessness or the Antifa and Black Lives Matters protests last summer.
