The swamp strikes again

This week, the swamp struck again. I opposed the first half of a swamp omnibus monstrosity that will ultimately cost taxpayers $1.659 trillion. This legislation passed with more Democrat support than Republican, which tells you everything you need to know.  

Representatives from both sides of the aisle will claim this legislation contained wins for the American people, but the truth is that most of the wins secured in the seven appropriations bills passed by House Republicans were surrendered.

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore co-sponsored the Appropriations Transparency Act, introduced by Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-WI). This legislation amends the Congressional Budget Act to remove the exception from appropriations bills receiving scores from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).
