Americans across the country are alarmed at actions the Department of Justice is taking to silence parents with legitimate concerns about the education of their children. Bowing to pressure from outside groups, Attorney General Merrick Garland is taking steps to use the PATRIOT Act to investigate parents who protest to their local school boards against Critical Race Theory and mask mandates for schoolchildren. This is an incredibly dangerous abuse of government power!

The last two weeks made clear that Democrats in Washington are in complete disarray. The two wings of Speaker Pelosi’s caucus – the so-called “moderates” and the “progressives” (a deceptive word for “socialists”) – have been battling each other for the soul of the Democratic Party.

Lately, Speaker Pelosi has been siding with the progressives in trying to woo the moderates – a good indicator that progressives are winning the battle.
