Montgomery, AL – Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) announced today that Junhyun Lee, a student at Montgomery Academy, is the overall winner of the 2021 Congressional App Challenge for Alabama’s Second Congressional district.

Junhyun’s app titled “PC Builder” is designed to help individuals build their own PC that meets their needs and budgets. The app will be featured in an exhibition at the U.S. Capitol this year.

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) joined 112 of his colleagues in sending a letter to the Director of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requesting that the NPRC send a full report on plans to combat the backlog of veterans’ record requests. This comes after the NPRC announced that as of January 6th, its on-site staffing will be reduced to 25 percent of its pre-pandemic level.

This month we hit the one-year mark of Joe Biden’s presidency. It would be difficult even for President Biden’s most ardent and well-meaning supporters to claim our nation is better off today than one year ago, although some of them tried (and failed). Let’s talk about what we have seen during the past year. The border crisis, which President Trump had done so much to correct, flared to the worst we’ve seen in a generation. In only twelve months, over 1.8 million illegally crossed our border – an amount equal to nine times the population of Montgomery.

Barry Moore (AL-02) bill, H.R. 2047, that would expand GI Bill benefits to members of the National Guard who are on Federal Active-Duty orders for missions other than training.
