Democrat policies are causing a crime spike in blue cities across our country. In San Francisco, total crime rose by eight percent last year. In our Nation’s capital, murder rates have reached a 15-year high, and in New York City, major crimes rose by 22 percent.

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) voted in support of H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. This legislation bars biological men from competing in school athletic programs that are for women and girls in compliance with Title IX. This bill ensures that biological females compete against other biological females in women's competitive sports that are funded through Title IX.

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) voted in support of a joint resolution of disapproval to strike down the D.C. City Council's Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Emergency Amendment Act of 2022. This permanent legislation was introduced in the wake of anti-police protests in the summer of 2020.

Barry Moore (AL-02) introduced legislation to repeal the 16th Amendment to the Constitution, which allows the United States government to collect income taxes on its citizens. Rep. Bob Good (VA- 05) and Rep. Keith Self (TX-03) are co-sponsors of this legislation. Today is Tax Day, the date by which taxes must be filed for most Americans.
