Rep. Barry Moore votes to stop Biden's war on American energy

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) supported two pieces of legislation that would help to end President Biden's war on American energy production. H.R.6009, the Restoring American Energy Dominance Act, sponsored by Rep. Boebert (R-CO), blocks the Biden Administration's mandate to increase the royalty rate, fees and preference criteria for producing energy on American land. H.R. 1121, the Protecting American Energy Production Act, sponsored by Rep. Duncan (R-SC), ends Biden's ban on fracking.

"Biden's radical anti-energy agenda is undeniable. He killed the Keystone XL pipeline; he attacked domestic energy producers; he depleted our strategic petroleum reserve and sold it off to China; and he placed a ban on LNG export terminals,” said Moore. “President Biden declared war on American energy from his first day in office, and American families have been paying the price. These pieces of legislation help House Republicans end Biden's attacks on our energy production."
