Rep. Barry Moore votes to impeach Secretary Mayorkas

February 13, 2024

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) voted in favor of H.Res.863, a resolution introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) to impeach Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas for high crimes and misdemeanors.

"Secretary Mayorkas deliberately opened our borders and allowed nearly 10 million illegals to invade our country on the taxpayer's dime," said Moore. "If his mouth is moving, he's lying. Mayorkas has violated the law and his oath of office, putting American families in danger and causing chaos in our cities, and it's past time for him to be held accountable."
