Rep. Barry Moore votes to hold Biden-Harris Administration accountable for failed Afghanistan withdrawal

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) released a statement after voting in support of H.Res.1469, which holds key officials in the Biden-Harris Administration accountable for decision making and execution failures throughout the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan that caused the death of 13 American service members.

“The Biden-Harris Administration's botched Afghanistan withdrawal betrayed our service members and our citizens who were trapped there for days on end, but three years later they still refuse to take accountability,” said Moore. “The American people deserve a Commander in Chief who owns up to their mistakes and gives our service members the respect they deserve."
