Rep. Barry Moore voices support for Israel

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore stood with Israel by voting in favor of a resolution expressing the sense of Congress that the United States supports the State of Israel. Republicans, led by Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX), introduced this resolution to push back against antisemitic comments made by Democrat Representatives Pramila Jayapal, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar.

"Israel is a close ally to the United States, and any threat to them is a threat to us and our freedoms," said Moore. "The antisemitic statements made by members of Congress are abhorrent and racist and should be condemned in the strongest language possible. I will always be proud to stand with Israel."
