Rep. Barry Moore urges Speaker Johnson to take action on pro-growth tax legislation

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) joined nearly 150 of his Republican colleagues on a letter led by Rep. Yakym (R-IN) urging Speaker Johnson to support legislation by the end of the year that extends pro-growth tax policies, including, immediate research and development expensing, full capital expensing, and a pro-growth interest deductibility rule.

"Small business owners across Alabama are battling Biden's red tape and his 17 percent inflation tax," said Moore. "House Republicans must pass legislation that extends these tax provisions so our small business owners can withstand the failure of Bidenomics, continue innovation, create jobs, and maintain competitiveness with businesses in other countries."
