Rep. Barry Moore urges Secretaries Austin and Blinken to reconsider halting shipment of weapons to Israel

Washington, D.C.- Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Austin and Secretary of State Blinken urging them to reconsider their decision to halt the shipment of precision-guided weapons to Israel. Reps. Gary Palmer (AL-06), Andy Biggs (AZ-05), and Warren Davidson (OH-08) also signed the letter.

"The Biden Administration's decision to withhold weapons to Israel, a steadfast ally of the United States, is reprehensible in the face of the October 2023 Hamas attacks that killed more than 1,200 people," said Moore. "I urge President Biden, Secretary Austin and Secretary Blinken to reconsider this decision that makes America look weak on the world's stage and could hinder Israel's ability to respond to future attacks."
