Rep. Barry Moore supports strongest anti-CCP legislation in history

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore co-sponsored the Countering Communist China Act led by Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman Kevin Hern (R-OK) and RSC National Security Task Force Chairman Joe Wilson (R-SC). The bill sanctions Chinese officials for trafficking fentanyl into the U.S., curtails trade with China, restricts outbound investments in Chinese technologies companies, promotes democracy to Chinese citizens and more.

"This legislation treats the CCP like the grave threat to American national security it is,” said Moore. "This is the strongest legislation against the CCP in history, and passing it is imperative so that we're better prepared to protect American innovation and independence."
