Rep. Barry Moore supports military construction and VA funding

Washington, D.C.- Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) released a statement after voting in favor of H.R. 8580, the 2025 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. This legislation honors our commitment to our Nation's veterans by fully funding health care and benefits programs, bolsters national security through robust funding for military construction at American installations at home and abroad, and reins in the woke ideologies pushed by the Biden Administration.

"In the face of growing global threats, we should be focused on strength and readiness, not abortion travel or critical race theory," said Moore. "This legislation fully funds benefits for our veterans, vital construction for our military, and puts our focus back in the right place by defunding Biden's mission to make our military bases woke."
