January 30, 2026

Washington D.C. – Today, Congressman Barry Moore (AL-01) voted in support of the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations bill covering Commerce, Justice, Science, Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment.

This bill is a responsible step toward restoring fiscal discipline while strengthening America’s security, energy independence, and stewardship of public lands.

“This appropriations bill delivers critical investments that directly benefit Alabama by supporting our local law enforcement and public safety efforts and funding vital water infrastructure projects that keep our communities strong," said Rep. Moore. "This bill backs energy and water programs that sustain jobs and promote economic growth right here at home. By protecting taxpayer dollars and advancing these priorities, we’re ensuring Alabama families have the resources they need while standing firm with President Trump’s America First agenda.”
