Rep. Barry Moore supports censuring Rep. Rashida Tlaib for antisemitic remarks

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) released the following statement after voting in favor of H. Res. 845, a resolution introduced by Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA) to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib for antisemitic activity, peddling false narratives, and calling for the destruction of the State of Israel. Rep. Moore released his own resolution condemning Rep. Tlaib's remarks on October 11th.

"Representative Tlaib continues to advocate for a terrorist organization responsible for taking thousands of innocent lives in Israel," said Moore. "On October 18, 2023, Rashida Tlaib led an antisemitic protest at the United States Capitol Complex, following Hezbollah's orders to carry out a 'day of unprecedented anger.' It is beyond shameful for a Member of Congress to celebrate terrorism."
