Rep. Barry Moore requests video footage of Rep. Bowman pulling fire alarm

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) sent a letter to U.S. Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger requesting the full video footage of Congressman Jamaal Bowman pulling the fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building on September 30, 2023. Representatives Dan Bishop (R-NC), Lauren Boebert (R-CO), and Troy Nehls (R-TX) joined him on the letter.

“A photograph does not determine the severity of this situation, but the video will show us everything," said Moore. "This is a serious situation, and Congressman Bowman could be liable for violating the law. The American people deserve to know the full extent of his conduct."
