Rep. Barry Moore Introduces Fallen Heroes Memorial Month Resolution
Washington D.C. – Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-01) introduced a resolution to recognize the month of May as Fallen Heroes Memorial Month. This resolution is cosponsored by Reps. Dan Crenshaw (TX-02), Randy Weber (TX-14), Claudia Tenney (NY-24), Buddy Carter (GA-01), Stepanie Bice (OK-05), David Valadao (CA-22), Morgan Luttrell (TX-08), and Daniel Webster (FL-11)
"The freedom we enjoy each day comes with a price - the lives of men and women who are willing to sacrifice everything to ensure our country is safe and prosperous," said Rep. Moore. "This resolution serves as a public recognition honoring the memory of these fallen heroes. Scripture tells us: ‘Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.' These men and women deserve our deepest gratitude for their service and sacrifice, and I am proud to sponsor this resolution to recognize May as Fallen Heroes Memorial Month.
“It’s imperative we continue to remember those who have given their lives in service to this great nation. This Resolution allows us to honor and reaffirm the commitment to never forget the sacrifice of those who gave everything to protect our freedoms. I will always support our service members, veterans and of course fallen heroes. “ said Rep. Bice.
“We must never forget our fallen heroes. These brave men and women gave everything—paying the ultimate price—to defend the freedoms we hold dear,” said Rep. Weber. “America is the greatest nation on Earth because of their sacrifice.”
