Rep. Barry Moore: "I didn't come to D.C. to join the status quo caucus"

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) joined the Jeff Poor Show to reaffirm his vow to oppose funding the government until Congress prioritizes funding the security of the United States southern border.

From Congressman Moore's interview with Jeff Poor: "The only leverage we have in Congress is spending. The only language this swap system understands in D.C. is that you have to cut the flow of money to get their attention and make them do the things that matter to the American people, otherwise, they turn a blind eye and a deaf ear and keep on spending. The border is now a crisis that every American recognizes, and it's time to take a tough stance. I didn't go to Washington, D.C., to join the status quo caucus; I went to join the House Freedom Caucus to try to save this country. The border and our debt are two crises this country faces and the border is immediate."
