Rep. Barry Moore holds Telephone Town Hall on Democrat Shutdown
Washington, D.C.- Yesterday, Congressman Barry Moore (R-AL) joined Americans for Prosperity-Alabama (AFP-AL) for a telephone town hall to discuss the Democrats shutdown of the federal government and how it is hurting Alabama families and businesses.
The telephone town hall served as a chance for Alabamians to ask questions on the Democrat shutdown and what solutions Congressman Moore is working on to reopen the government and prevent shutdowns in the future.
“Democrats cannot continue to play political games at the expense of hardworking Alabama families,” said Rep. Moore. “It’s time to end the political theater, reopen the government, and put in place real reforms that ensure the American people are no longer used as leverage. Fiscal responsibility and accountability are not partisan. They are common sense, and Alabamians deserve nothing less.”
