Rep. Barry Moore holds Farm Bill listening session in Montgomery
Washington, D.C. — On Tuesday, April 4, Rep. Barry Moore, a member of the House Agriculture Committee, held a farm bill listening session in Montgomery to give constituents the opportunity to share what they would like to see in this year's Farm Bill. Topics of discussion included strong farm safety nets, diversified packing capacity, conservation programming, and public agriculture research and extension services. Moore was joined by his Agriculture Policy Staffer Samantha Barnett, Alabama Ag Commissioner Rick Pate, and Senator Tommy Tuberville's Agriculture Policy Staffer Emma Johnston.
Rep. Moore will be holding two more listening sessions this week in Dothan and Andalusia.
