Rep. Barry Moore holds Farm Bill listening session in Andalusia
Washington, D.C. — On Thursday, April 6, Rep. Barry Moore, a member of the House Agriculture Committee, held a farm bill listening session in Andalusia to give constituents the opportunity to share what they would like to see in this year's Farm Bill. Topics of discussion included farm safety nets, feral swine eradication, the importance of checkoffs, addressing barriers to entering ag production, and labor concerns. Moore was joined by his Agriculture Policy Staffer Samantha Barnett, and Senator Tommy Tuberville's Agriculture Policy Staffer Emma Johnston.
Rep. Moore previously held two other listening sessions in Montgomery and Dothan.
