Welcome to our January wrap-up newsletter. We are one year into President Biden's presidency, and our nation is facing rising inflation, empty shelves, an overrun southern border, unconstitutional vaccine mandates, and a whole lot more.
Our values and way of life are under attack, but I promise that I will continue to fight for you, your family, and Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District.

HIGHLIGHTS
One year under Biden...
This month, I spoke on the House floor upon the one-year anniversary of President Biden being sworn into office to highlight the historic crises the American people have suffered due to Biden's weak leadership. Biden's Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandate
This month, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the American people and forced the Biden administration to withdraw its authoritarian and unconstitutional vaccine mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees. While I am very pleased with the court’s ruling, our fight is far from over. Hardworking Americans should not be forced to choose between being vaccinated and providing for their families.
Empty Shelves & Rising Inflation
The American people have been met with the shocking sight of empty shelves and soaring prices at grocery stores and the gas pump. This month I spoke on the House floor regarding our skyrocketing inflation rate, where I touched on the Consumer Price Index, which has confirmed inflation has climbed a staggering 7% since President Biden took office one year ago. Back the Blue Telephone Town Hall
Thank you to everyone who joined our Back the Blue telephone town hall! Thousands of residents from our district joined and had the opportunity to discuss what I am doing to support law enforcement and efforts to fight the attacks on officers across the nation. I asked a series of poll questions during the telephone town hall. Almost 100% of callers support the 2nd Amendment, don't agree with Democrats’ policies to defund the police, and say they are worse off under President Biden. I’ll be holding future town halls, so follow me on social media to stay connected.
District Travel |
Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with constituents, small businesses, veterans, local officials, and speak at events. It was a great month traveling around the district! I always love a reprieve from the Swamp to be in Sweet Home Alabama.
