The Biden-Harris border disaster
You may have seen the ridiculous argument the Biden Administration and some in the media have attempted to make that Vice President Kamala Harris was never named the “Border Czar.”
When you have more than 10 million illegal border crossings on your record, it makes sense why you would argue that border security isn’t your job. No matter the formalities, the Biden-Harris Administration’s job is to protect American families, and they have failed beyond belief.
At least ninety-nine illegal aliens on the FBI’s terrorist watch list have been released into the United States under their watch. More than 600,000 illegal aliens with a criminal record are also roaming the streets of our country. In 2024 alone, Border Patrol has encountered tens of thousands of illegal aliens from countries that present national security risks, including 2,134 Afghan nationals, 33,347 Chinese nationals, 3,104 Uzbek nationals, 541 Iranian nationals, and 520 Syrian nationals.
Some American families are feeling the weight of these numbers every day as they stare at an empty seat at the dinner table.
This includes the family of 54-year-old grandmother Melody Waldecker, who was carjacked by an illegal alien while coming home from a shopping mall just outside of Washington, D.C. The suspect ran Melody over with her own car, killing her instantly.
He entered our country from El Salvador as a gotaway at an unspecified place.
House Republicans have done everything we can to bring back President Trump’s successful border policies and end these tragedies. We passed the Secure the Border Act more than a year ago, which would have forced restarted construction of the border wall, hired more border agents, and ended catch-and-release, but it has been gathering dust on Senate Majority Leader Schumer’s desk since then.
Before she was ever “Border Czar,” Kamala Harris made it clear she supports wide open borders. In 2018 she led a letter publicly urging her colleagues to reject then-President Trump’s ask for funding to hire new Border Agents.
Since then, the Biden-Harris Administration has only renewed their commitment to America last policies.
Biden, Harris, and the Democrats have no one else to blame for the grave challenges facing our nation. I will continue to fight tooth-and-nail against this radical agenda that created the worst border crisis in American history.
