When our “Border Czar” made a pit stop at a border facility last month, she comically claimed the Biden administration has made “progress” in securing our southern border. Let’s check in on these so-called improvements…
Last month, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) faced 188,829 encounters at our southern border - the highest number of illegal immigrants in 21 years. Additionally, CBP seized 1,053 pounds of fentanyl - more than the last three Junes combined.
On top of these astonishing statistics, COVID-19 cases at the southern border are rapidly spiking. In the Rio Grande Valley sector, the number of detainees testing positive for COVID-19 has increased by 900%.
So while the Administration threatens to go door-to-door to ask Americans whether they’ve been vaccinated, they’re simultaneously allowing illegal immigrants to flood the border and spread coronavirus in the process. The hypocrisy never ends, my friends.

To no one’s surprise, Speaker Pelosi showed her true colors last week by proving her “investigation” into January 6th is nothing more than a political circus.
Just days after Leader McCarthy announced the five Republicans chosen to serve on the January 6th Select Committee, Pelosi blocked two of them: Representatives Jim Banks and Jim Jordan. Shamelessly ignoring precedent, Pelosi manufactured a reason to keep two of our most effective members off the Committee. Talk about an egregious abuse of power.
So what is Pelosi so afraid of? The truth.
Banks and Jordan are eager to uncover the facts by asking tough questions - such as why wasn’t proper security in place to protect the People’s House despite having intelligence weeks in advance about possible threats? The American people and Capitol Police officers deserve answers, not another partisan witch hunt aimed at attacking Donald J. Trump and his supporters.

Chanting “Libertad!” and waving American flags, thousands of brave Cubans have taken to the streets to protest more than six decades of brutal oppression.
Now more than ever, we must stand with freedom over socialism. Yet many radical Democrats, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders, have blamed American policies rather than denounce their beloved socialist ideology. Other members of the Squad have remained completely silent.
If they were honest, they would admit that failed socialist policies have failed the Cuban people. Poor healthcare options, widespread food shortages, rampant corruption, and ruthless censorship plague the country - all inevitable consequences of socialism.
As a beacon of hope and freedom around the world, the United States must support the Cuban people as they fight against socialist tyranny. It’s imperative that we unveil the harsh realities of socialism before the Left forces our nation down the same tragic path.
